Craftsman 3/8” Flying V gear with chipped teeth

Hi all! I’m new here and stumbled on this forum while looking for a repair kit for a vintage ratchet that my father gave me. Does anyone know where I could find at least the D pawl and 24 tooth gear for one of these ratchets?

That style of ratchet is unfortunately so old that rebuild kits aren't really available. Because it has sentimental value keep your eyes open on ebay and estate sales/pawn shops for a "donor" ratchet. One that you could take the guts out of and install into yours to make it functional.

You might get lucky. I find old rats all the time and save them for parts.

Thank you Bman. I did just that and purchase a donor off eBay. I just hope the internals are in better shape than the one I have!
