Yea, that's why I sprung and bought them. I definitely don't need any more 3/8ths sockets or ratchets. I probably have at least 6 other ones. I would like to find myself a 1/2 Craftsman U.S.A. Ratchet though.

I have a brand new Craftsman Industrial 1/2" US made that I would trade or sell cheap

how much you looking to get?

It is part# 23805, looks to be similar to the Craftsman 44809. I actually have the matching 1/4" and 3/8" as well.

I see Zoro has the 23805 1/2" one at $36

I would sell the 1/2" shipped for $25. Would throw in the 3/8" 23795 for a total of $40 shipped.

Did anyone go into the store to buy it without ordering it online?

When I went this morning, I was there before my order was "ready." Our local store is a Hometown Sears store not a big one. I did pick up a flyer and saw they in the flyer. IIRC, the sale is till Sept 8th.

Check your local stores inventory online before you make the trip.

Was able to get three of these at my local store today. Cashier said labor day sale was still going on. All set components were USA made. Nice little sets for less than the cost of the ratchet alone. Sadly the metric sets at the same price were all made in China. Still a good deal.

I went in to pick up my online order at my local store. The one I received (metric) and the the ones on the shelf in the store (metric & SAE) were both China.

I went in the store last night to see shelf price, 20 bucks. 1 left was USA. I ordered 2 and it says its ready so hopefully they pulled a USA out from back or something.

Bought one.
Made in China.
But it was comparable to the identical model Craftsman ratchet I have, which was made in the USA.
The sockets are a little different too.
But for $10 ?????????
I needed a 3/8" 18mm 6pt socket anyway!
With the SYWR rewards redemption, it cost me a whopping $5.18 including tax.
The Big Mac I had on the way over there cost more.

Picked mine up today, both China but couldn't care less as long as they work. They'll both be going in my work truck. Going to inventory 6pt sockets tonite in the shop sets and see if I need to buy more, seems like they are hard to come by in the bigger sets I usually buy. The metric box had a lot of dust on it so it had been hiding somewhere for a while. MY Sears reorganized the tool section and they don't have anywhere near the hand tool selections out on the floor that they used to.
