Yet again... the Garage Journal is more dependable than the Sears website.

I had this prybar set on an e-mail alert for under $21. I didn't get an e-mail.

BUT... I did get an e-mail with a Shop Your Way to Rewards deal that let me get this prybar set for free! (sorta)

Get $20 back in points (20,000 points) when you redeem $25 or more in points!

Got this set a couple months back after reading about the deal here. Very nice tools, highly recommended, particularly at less than $20. Quality stuff.

Thanks for the heads up on these! Best thing about them is they are made in the good old U.S.A.

The price is right but shipping fee is too high.

Yep, I'd buy more from Harry Epstein, but the shipping is too high for what I've ordered. They'd be much better off using flat rate boxes. It's not like they're spending much on packaging either. The tools I received were just tossed in the bottom of the box with some newspaper on top to keep them from rattling around too much. I'd order from them again because they have some things I can't get elsewhere, but I wasn't impressed.

I bought these the last time they went on sale. Great deal for 20 bucks.

I was thinking about rounding off the set with the single 31 inch Craftsman pry bar for 21 bucks with free ship to store. This winds up being cheaper than the Wilde 31 inch from Harry Epstein when you take into account shipping. Also, it would be a perfectly match set of 4 if they were all Craftsman, since the Wilde handles look slightly different.

Here's the link for the single big dog pry bar, in case anyone wants make the 3 piece set into a 4 piece set.

Don't they have a matching one that's around 40"? I know I've seen them laying on the bottom shelf at my store but can't remember what size they were...

lol I just went to Sears on my way home form a CL score on an Aluminum Step from Wal-Board. Saw the set, took a pic to post a thread and purchased them. I went to post the thread just now and obviously just found this thread.

GREAT deal and some of the last USA made Tools by C-Man. I actually bought a few other things while I was there. Had to dig deep to find the old USA stuff.

Thanks for posting and here is the pic I took yesterday to show the deal still stands!

If for some reason somebody can't pick one up There is 4-5 sets left at the store I frequent. I would gladly buy another set and ship them for cost of shipping just to help someone out.

I may just have to buy another set. I have beat the hell out of my set and they are still good as new (functionality wise). I have found some times I have needed two of the same size.

From my VERY recent experience the C-Man Made in USA Prybars are complete GARBAGE!!! I bought a set and was replacing some Subframe Bushings on a Z32. Using them to Pry out a Center Sleeve, after Hole Sawing from the top and bottom to release the Bushing, this screwed up the tip of the Pry Bar. Complete GARBAGE! Even the US ones. So don't be fooled just because it says "Made in USA" DOES NOT mean it is quality.

I am thoroughly disappointed. Back to the Snap-On's I have been using for 10 years without a scratch on them and I beat the piss out of them.

I will post pics of the damage to the Pry Bar when I get some time. They will go in this thread.

Sorry but these Pry Bars are **** in my eyes.

Maybe you want to warranty that one and try another. A vast majority of members that own and use these prybars love them.

I probably should. It just really blew my mind after getting the first Bushing Sleeve out then cleaning the grease off my brand new Tool only to find part of the Rag hanging off of the tip from snagging on the damage. I was not even being hard on the Pry Bar either. I could see if I was mistreating it but man, I really was not. I have a set of Snap-On Pry Bars that have been with me for a while now. They are not the ones with the Cap on the Handle for beating on either. I use them as hard as I need to get the job done. They are abused a touch you could say. I beat on them with Hammers. Not a single one of the 4 piece set is damaged to this day. One use and the tip is FUBAR with the C-Man set. I guess I am just a touch angry but what can you expect for $20?

I agree, the Snap on is going to be better.

But I think people are comparing the Craftsman $20 three piece set to the price point of Harbor Freight pry bars. And in that comparison, I think Craftsman wins out over Harbor Freight, but obviously not going to win out over Snap on.

They seem to go on sale off and on online, got mine that way several months back. They are good quality or at least the ones I bought are. I couldn't be happier. US made, etc. when I rec'd mine.

Not on sale now. But the 3 piece professional set with nice handles and striking caps are on a pretty good discount. I don't think I have ever seen the professional ones any cheaper than they are right now. So I'd either get the professional ones now, or wait of the regular ones to go back on sale for $19.99 (hopefully).

Professionals were $49.99 at both of the Sears that I've been to recently. Didn't have any sort of markdown sticker.

I picked some up a few months back, almost immediately after I'd bought some other sizes from Wilde. They are absolutely identical except for the labeling. High quality, don't know why some are having trouble with them. I find them to be very good tools. And the price is killer at less than $20.

I am assuming they are still Wilde; if not, then I don't know.....
