I know that these used to be made in the States, and I think they still are but you never know with Cman.

This is the cheapest I've seen them.

I have these and they are nice. Just bought three more sets since I tend to lose one every so often!

I recently broke one of these and took it in for warranty. They made me return all four even tho only one was broke. Wasn't too big of a deal but I thought it was odd.

From my experience with those, they are absolute garbage. I wouldn't buy those things again for 4 cents. I broke 2 in a matter of 30 seconds and the handles come off with the slightest tug. YMMV.

I've had several sets of these over the years---shop guys refer to them as "dental picks."

I've broken the right-angle one a couple of times.

Simple lesson---they aren't prybars. They're picks. If you're doing something that requires enough force to remove the cushioned grip, there is a decent chance you're misusing the tool.

For $4 (I already bought another set at that price) there isn't much room for complaint. Snap-On will happily sell you the same set (with SO grips) for $50.

FYI, my first ordering attempt was cancelled saying out of stock. I put in another order.

FYI, this happened on something recently and the phone rep said they would honor the special price after the fact. YMMV.

I was in the store browsing around this morning looking for any bargains and saw those picks, I bought a couple. They had ones that were twice as long, but not on sale for $9.99. USA made.

I may pick up a set or two, picks are just too handy not to have plenty in all locations.

I have the Ullman version, and if they are the same the tips I think are hardened, so no prying, just picking, and they are sharp poked myself a couple times not being careful.

They're certainly nothing special, but for four bucks they're not bad.

USA Made. Full Warranty

Guess these will go in the screwdriver drawer?

USA but very light duty. I broke one and didn't put much stress on it at all.

I bought a set of Masterforce (Pratt Read) picks and they are much better. If you're looking for affordable heavy duty USA go for the Craftsman Professional/Mayhew set

Yeah. The MasterForce's are $5.99 and much nicer. Pratt Read makes great stuff.

I have both the Pratt-Read and Craftsman/Ullman Devices picks.

I like the PR ones a lot more, but that mostly has to do with the handle design. I like the handles on the PR picks a lot more. I've used the PR picks a ton and haven't used the Craftsman ones that much because I like the PR handle so much more.

Yeah, I got the Mayhews from MSC last year and LOVE them. Heavy duty as picks go, and the rubber grips are awesome.

The picks were sold out at my local store tonight, but did grab a set of Screw Outs for $9.99 as well as a set of Mechanics Gloves for $9.99, instead.

Oh yeah, I was there picking up a 5-drawer top tool box (13600) for $85 on the Craftsman Club deals on their website. I needed it and it was too cheap to pass up. Turns out it's nicer than the rest of the stuff I already own. LOL.

Picked up a set today.

Keep forgetting to ask my dentist if I can get some of his old tools. Not sure what they do with them. But by the way it feels when they use them on me, they will stand up to anything!

My sister is a dentist / oral surgeon. I get the good ones for free.

I good ones are autoclaved and reused, the one time use are cheap.

Back in my scrap buying days nothing spooked people like a box of dental instruments, sharp AND contaminated with blood. Nobody wanted to touch the stuff or face the liability of improper disposal.

I was ordering something else last night so I added these. Wife picked them up today and there are only 2 picks on the card. Model number matches so I thought maybe they pulled out of the handle to reverse. Thanks to the member that posted the picture so I know it's wrong. There is nothing at all wrong with the package. The other two weren't removed - they were never there from manufacturing

I've noticed that the foam handle covers slide off really easily. I'll probably do the hair spray thing.

I will agree that there garage the shaft looks to be hot glued into the aluminum handle and 1 of mine fell apart coming out of the package and now maybe 3 weeks later another one just did it and the grips dont stay on them. Poor representation of a american tool I wouldnt recommend

I think these are excellent. Aluminum handle with non slip grip and steel shaft that is threaded into the handle.

This is an item that costs as much as a bag of Doritos. For the price they are far better than we should ever expect and made in America as well.

I don't expect the quality of a $50 set of picks when I pay $3.99. That kind of mentality is what drives retailers to manufacture overseas.

Are you sure there suppost to be threaded because the 2 ive had come apart had nothing but glue on the end of them and I really dont think that it would of snaped that far up the handle. Maybe I got a bad batch if they were threaded they would probley be alright, I glued my grips on with some motorcycle grip glue I had and it fixed the grip problem of my remaining 2.
