I have my 506 partially disassembled but it appears the set screw for the screw nut is pinned and I see no access from the other side

Any recommendations for removal?

Thank you

I would drill out the staked area or use a die grinder with a fine tip to grind it out...either should the allow you to remove the screw

It is a pin.

Probably will leave well enough alone and not disassemble completely

The vise dates 1960-70 with a crown logo that someone removed.

If anyone has any specific experience please let me know!
