I was excited when I saw this because I'm in the market for a 60 gal compressor. Then I saw it was single stage. Ugh. Then I read the reviews. Double ugh. Oh well, I'll keep lookin'.

i'm going to pull the trigger on one it has the same specs as an IR and the Kolbolt brands.

I'm not sure which IR you're referring to but the Kobalt is 3.7 HP/155 PSI and the Craftsman is 3.1/150.

Actually, there are both 3.7hp.

The 3.1 is Running HP but the motor says 3.7 on it. Also, there are a few other differences as well the craftsman is an aluminum pump with cast iron sleves vs a iron pump.

I have the Craftsman and its a great upgrade from my last unit!
