Craftsman 60 gallon air compressor modifications

Hey everyone, about three months ago I picked up a (used) Craftsman 60 gallon, advertised five horsepower, two stage, twin cylinder air compressor for the home shop and personal use. So far it's done everything I've asked of it, but I'm wondering how I could make it better? What modifications can I do?

So far I have put a ball valve for the compressor drain, it came with the IR filter, picked up a Parker regulator for it. Other than that I haven't done anything much more to it. I wrench on cars for a living and that's what I do in my spare time as well. Could I possibly run a small cabinet blaster off of this compressor? I've been toying with the idea of picking one up in the future. Thanks.

I see you've bungied the hoses already, so to further those precautions I'd figure out a way to hardmount your filter & regulator, or your hose connections at least.

Good observation. I'll try and find a way.
What about maybe a better muffler for theses? Does anyone know of any? Thanks.

I bought a Solberg one from Amazon. Been really happy with it. I think some of the negative reviews are because people had a decent filter/silencer prior to buying one, but mine was ****, so it made a huge difference.
