Picked this box up at a sale for five bucks. Got bored in the shop one. Ought. So I decided to attack it with the 4" wire brush. That led to a coat of Rustoleum hammered paint and some bright red for the tray. It's not a full on resto by any means but I think it looks nice.

What are all those small black things on the floor next to your newly painted toolbox? Do you have a bit of a mouse problem? :lol_hitti

That looks like a pretty close color match between the new exterior paint and the original paint on the underside of the lid. What color Rustoleum did you use? I have a few Craftsman toolboxes that are the same color/vintage and it would be nice to touch mine up a bit too. I don't care about a exact match, but something close to the original color (like yours) would be nice.

Those are the individual squares from the the shelf liner that I cut off one at a time because I'm a perfectionist and like things level, plumb and square.

I'll get you the paint codes here in a Jiffy.
