Hi Folks,
Just picked one up for $40 in very good condition but missing the front panel, Any info on these as I don't see much on the interweb but this is a quality box on par with my Kennedys. thanks in advance- Steve

I think you might discover that BEACH Canada made many of the metal Machinist toolboxes. I have the same tool box in Kennedy, Beach and Craftsman.
My son tells me that I have four of these toolboxes left. I have bit and pieces for my JUJKI sewing machine in one toolbox, Another has lots of drafting tools in it and another is where I keep[ receipts, pens, pencils and Post-Its
I sold the Kennedy for twice what I paid for the remaining boxes. I bought the Kennedy then put it on Craigslist, with my smart phone, and sold it to someone I met on my way to a Doctor's appointment. I made $200 on that box in under an hour.

They are comparable.. sometimes a tad nicer than Kennedy. My 8 drawer Craftsman looks almost identical to my Kennedys.. I'd be very surprised if Kennedy didn't make them for Sears.

Don, Thank you so much for that thread! Great information and interesting that there are other "tool nuts" like me out there.
Stay safe-Steve

I have the same Kennedy wrinkle brown machinist box with original key

The front door panel part can come up missing as it just slides under the bottom drawer

Probably at least 25 years old or more
