I am looking to buy an OBD scanner for somewhere around $100. I came across this one from Craftsman. Obviously it is made from another company and Craftsman has their name put on it, but I am wondering if this is a solid entry level scanner and if anyone has experience using it. It also helps that I have $25 in SYWR points to spend at Sears (so I'd get it for $75) :D.

BTW, I drive a 2006 Hyundai and want something that will be compatible with that and other vehicles.

I have it and it works fine. Only complaint is that it come with a third part diagnostic software that installs on your computer with a 20 day trial subscription.

Quite frankly though, if all you are looking for is a reader and CEL reset function, there is cheaper basic reader that will do it for a lot less.

Does the reader define the code with a few words to explain it at all or does it just give the code itself? I know I can just look the code up online but itd be a nice feature. Especially if it did this for the Hyundai codes.
