There’s two bolts that hold the handle in place. I’ve managed the grind the threads right off the longer bolt that goes into the spring. I’m looking for info on what the bolt is called and where I could find one. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
I would probably call it a set screw .
how did you manage to grind the threads off?
probably match the threads , get a bolt & grind off the threads on the end like the original was
That bolt is only partially threaded where it passes through the jack frame - the portion that the handle yoke pivots on is just a smooth pin. It may be the same thread as the shorter bolt, and there may be enough thread to measure with a thread gage. Or measure the female thread on the jack frame.
