Craftsman 99 pc Ind Set -$99

Figured I'd post this for anyone potentially interested...

I received a notice from Global Industrial about this this morning...

From the spec sheet I would presume the ratchets to be standard issue (nothing too special), and its not that large a set and missing some sizes, but it still looked like a fairly nice deal for some US Made fodder, so I went for it.

Its available right now for $99 plus about $9 shipping.
I don't know if this "set" is fairly new this year or what.
What do you guys think?

Should be all U.S. as its stamped 'Industrial". If the pics are legit compared to whats shipped, you can see U.S.A. stamped on the ratchets in a few of them. Sockets also appear to have the G2 stamp.

Wow, that's actually not bad since it doesn't have the stupid filler items like 30 screwdriver bits and 25 hex useless hex keys. I was wondering if they even offered an affordable set that was JUST sockets and ratchets - this proves they do!

Yeah, even though its Ind., I looked for, and was glad to find, the U.S. stamp, and considering it was no "bitties", after some hunting around it seems a good deal to me. Sure would be (have been) nice if those ratchets indicated higher tooth count than the old standard, which have no doubt these are, but I figured "hey -I''ll take it".

Nice find - this is a really good deal. Yes, the ratchets are nothing special but they are reliable and can take a ton of abuse. The sockets are very good. Everything here is USA made. Awesome gift for someone who could appreciate or just an extra set for the truck. I have a ton of Industrial I got during the Sears blow-outs a few years ago but I am thinking of grabbing this set, just because $99.
