I wouldn't hold my breath on them being USA made, but who knows what your store had hanging on the back of the peg. The last USA-made Pro wrenches I saw in store were in the modules, but those are long gone now in lieu of imports at all of the stores I've visited (which is quite a few, several dozen at least).

Every time Sears marks something down heavily like this, every body seems to think they're trying to clear the shelves of something. That doesn't seem to be the case IMO, this is simply a deal of the day and is marked down accordingly.

Reviews say they are not USA

One guy thinks they're not USA and another guy said his are USA :dunno:

i'll let you know what they are, either way I thought it was a good deal, I prefer full polish...

easier to clean and shinier :D would be a bonus if they're USA made.

The USA review was from 2010, I'm pretty sure these ate no longer USA made.

I love how "12pt box end creates more points of engagement with the fastener." Awesome, I need to get 12pt impact sockets if that's the case!!

No US company make their product w/o stamping any thing "USA" related on it.

For $26, it's a very good looking Chinese wrenches.

If you look at the pic, you can see where they air brushed out the "USA" on the handle.

Will be a pig in a poke ordering and expecting to get USA made ones.

Honestly, to me they're not even worth the $27 if they are Chinese made wrenches.

..............

That is not what really bothers me. What bothers me is they do not show the current wrenches with the lobster claw ends. The pic is not representative of what someone will get.

At least for this set, I didn't think the full polished were lobster claw? I could be wrong though, but I thought that was just the raised panel.

the product is china made but they seem fine for what i need them for.

im not a full time tech yet but I wrench most days (more than just a hobby) and they seem fine for that. it was between these and the dewalt ones and these seem easier to get the guarantee warrantied so thats was the deciding factor plus the lower price.

im yet to use them but if i do break one il let you know

if i come across a stubborn or suspect bolt i always use a 6 point wrench or socket, and the same for doing up bolts that need to be FT. but thanks for the heads up on the flare nut wrenches, i was looking at those a while back.

i would take the Dewalt ones over those any day.

The Dewalts are very nice, smller open end for tight spots, with their own flank drive plus style.

no comparison.

I can't find anywhere that is states how long they are. From the pic on the Sears site they don't look very long to me.

Someone posted a pic in one of the threads showing their length over the raised panels. Can't find the pic though...

I was just curious as how the length compared to my set of long HF wrenches. I think the lenght on my HF ones is pretty good so far. I use them all the time instead of my regular size CM's.
