Hey all, hope somebody can help me with what I'm looking for. I used the thread search but didn't find the info I need.
I'm rebuilding my Craftsman model 919.152812 twin cyl 60gal Oil-Less compressor pump but since I do not have the owner's manual, I cannot find the torque value for the nut on the end of the crankshaft, or whatever you want to call the shaft that the connecting rods and counterweights rotate on.... This is a 12mm thread nut so the max torque value can be pretty high, but I don't want to over do it.
I even tried to order the manual from Sears but after multiple weeks of email delays, I got an email from Sears saying the order was cancelled and they refunded my $. Now the website says the manual is unavailable.
BTW, the rebuild was pretty simple and most of the parts were available from Sears or Amazon. But I would reeeeally like to finish it so I can use my compressor again!
TIA,
Paul
