A family member made a tablet at Sears, not interested in the rewards I gave my member # to use to get the points. Turns out, there were bonus points rewarded since the tablet was on sale and they can't advertise below MAP. So I got $44 in points. I was shopping online to see what to get with my points, and had a coupon for $20 in points when you redeem $25 worth in points.
I saw this set listed for $99 and on sale for $89 on sears.com
So, I went to the store to pick it up since there was no real point in paying online since I thought I'd browse and see if there was anything else I wanted. I get to the store see it listed for $99, I asked the cashier what the price was, since it was on an end cap and listed for $99 hoping to get the $89 +$20 back to "reduce" the price a little. He said he thought it was on sale, rang it up and it was $50! So total cost with tax was $7.04 and they gave me $20 back in rewards. Effectively giving me $12.96 because I'd spend the reward on tools anyway.
After reading the reviews was skeptical, but am pretty happy about it, a 25ft rubber hose, 1/2" impact, 3/8" wrench, air hammer (no chisels) and fittings. Happy to report that it can rip my lugs off, and I used it to remove a pulley from an alternator, so looks like it'll hold up to my light duty usage!
Thought I'd post, let others know that if you go to the store, it might be on sale for $50.
