Craftsman Alien Head Planer

I picked up this 6" Craftsman planer in Buffalo years ago along with a lot of other equipment, and finally decided to mount it up, attach a Craftsman motor, and put it back into service. It's a little unnerving at first since it is a manually fed machine, but I'm impressed with how well it actually works. You can see some of the wood chips in the photo. The most surprising part of it is that it came with three brand new cutting heads still in the original box in which they were shipped. Note the date of the postage stamp on the box?

April 24, 1941. One of the cutter heads is definitely for the Craftsman Planer. The other two I’m not sure.
