As of last year some were "assembled in the USA of global components" or so the Waterloo rep claimed.

I have Craftsman griplatch top and mid boxes, the top box is great. The mid box's bottom drags when opened with anything more than a set of screwdrivers in it. I'm sure an adjustment of the slides would fix it.

Going from what I have seen for specs, the waterloo seems to be a slighly better box. I always go the feeling the craftsman where cheapen a bit. 40" waterloos had 1200 ibs ratings while craftsman had 1000 or less. Waterloo slides where always rated higher too. That said, it normally seemed waterloo where more expensive. If you are looking for a 26" top box, watch for a nice use nine drawer Kra 59 SO.

I would much prefer a KRA59, KRA2055 but even the ones at twice the price are very used. I will eventually find one but I could use a box like this as well.

Anyone have any more info on these, or a suggestion of another decent box of this size?
