Amazed at how much nicer the Crafty design is than the Williams. Thw Williams does not look quite as streamlined.

Received the Craftsman dog bone from Trackwelder. This thing is big and heavy. Thought someone had placed a pipe bomb in my mail box inside a round cardboard tube. It is in very good condition.

100 years ago when I was a kid I had small fixed head dog bone for my bicycle. Made in Japan out of cast aluminum or pot metal. I ultimately broke it.

My car, pickup, and motorcycles are metric, so can't try it out on them. Maybe I'll try the washing machine or lawn mower.

Or....

Hey Tool Pants!

It seems you're on a "buy every historical Craftsman wrench oddity" mission!

Nice examples of both the dogbone and the "speed ratchet"...

Since I am an odd guy it is not much of a mission.

You do not want to know about my Hardy Boys and Tom Swift collections.

But when you are young and had zero to next to nothing; then worked hard and get old and have somethng; you think about what you could not have back then but can have now.

Looks like the dog bone has increased in price over the years, unlike my 401K retirement plan. Sears should bring it back into production and have a metric version.

Some other recent weird tools that at least have a practical actual use.

Just found this site - amazing fun!!! TW - is the Williams multisocket still available - if so I'd be interested in it for my son.
