Here are some of mine. The one in the blue plastic and the one next to it with the plastic box over the end are both Craftsman bits. The others are of various makers.Exp bits.jpg

Anyone know what version of the "CRAFTSMAN" logo is on the Bit?
As that tool was not made by a normal big time supplier of Cman tools, it was probably made by one of the big makers, like Irwin or Greenlee, and marked as close as they could easily make it.


I have several from box lots, and most seem in "unused" or "used once" condition. They can really be a pain to use in hard woods. i prefer a standard auger where possible.

I don’t but probably one of the Craftsman experts will. I have quite a few Craftsmen auger bits. My favorite expansive bit is my Irwin in the box.

I do like those with the gear drive for adjustment much better than the slider adjustment.
