It is not the 'block' grinder that has a following here and other sites.
It depends upon price, condition, and intended use.
If it were me, I'd wait for a 'block' grinder on CL and go with 1/3 for light duty jobs: light wire wheeling, light grinding.
There a number of block grinder threads from which you can get lots of information.
Perhaps I missed it somewhere but what are your intentions for it? That's the real important question. That unit would be ok with a wire wheel and stone but its best strength would be as a buffer. Two cloth wheels, one dedicated to course rougeand one for polish...
it will be pretty useless for grinding with any load pushed on it.
I use a variable speed Delta 1/3 horse as my buffer, a 1/3 HP craftsmen 1x30 belt sander, and a 1/2 horse baldor with a 10" expanded wheel. Between the 3 my basic grinding needs are met.
