Against my better judgment. I bought the 42 piece bit socket set on sale for $23. Considering it comes with their new 45t ratchet which sells for $20 by itself it seems like a no brainer. I was in need of a bit socket set for the van and didn't want to spend a lot so this is what i chose. I own a lot of USA made older Craftsman tools and this is my first Chinese made purchase. I have used it for 2 weeks now. I have to say I am pretty happy with my purchase. I had a stubborn t50 seat belt bolt Saturday and I really put some *** into it. It didn't twist or break like I was fully prepared for. I was pleasantly surprised considering all the negative reviews I have seen for this set and other Chinese made craftsman tools. Maybe I got a factory freak set or something but other than the chrome being kinda dull(who cares about that as long as it works) these are well worth the price I paid anyway.

I got the 42 piece set along with the long reach set a couple years ago and find the combo very convenient with my Jeep which has a **** load of torx.

Lot of stuff for the price

Not looking to burst any one's bubble here about this set and maybe they are better with different sourcing now but I have had several sets of Craftsman 3/8" drive hex tip sockets before for motorcycle use over the years and sadly I wasn't impressed with the performance. Bits rounded down easily so went other brands that included some cheap imports at the time that just fit and held up better. But for the record never broke a Craftsman one though.

I bought 2 of those sets last year. Similar set anyway. I love it. Could be a bit more complete on the metric hex sockets but a good deal for the money

I wouldn't e buying this set to use in a shop. One Snap On bit socket cost more than the sale price of this set. For a homeowner , they will most likely use only 4-5 sockets out of this set.
