I just picked up a craftsman block grinder and I noticed the light has a separate cord wired for 120 but the grinder has a 240 cord. When I found the wiring diagram it didn’t reflect there being two cords. I was wondering if this is normal and if it will be hard to switch everything back to 120 v. I am new to wiring these so I need to know what supplies I will need. I have a ratcheting crimper and wire stripper from when I rewired my boat.

It should not be difficult to switch back to 115v.

Remove the bottom cover, take a photo and post it here.

According to the drawings the lamp is listed. The two wires are going to different points. If switching from 220 to 120 just follow the drawing on the left.
