This is one of my garage sale finds today, an old blockhead. Says Sears Roebuck on it. Pre-Craftsman?

What is the attachment? It looks like some kind of blade grinding jig.
Thanks all

That is a tool (chisel, ...) sharpening fixture on the Left, and a drill bit sharpening fixture on the Right.

Nice find.

I believe FrankLee is looking for a part that goes to the tool sharpening fixture on the Left.

The part on the right is only half of the drill bit sharpener. Your missing the part that holds the drill bit in place.

My bet is that the thing on the left is more suited to sharpening hand plane blades as the 2-3 inch blade can be held tight and moved side to side. It will work with chisels too. It seems too small for planer blades that might be 6" (jointer) or 12" (planer).
