The NASCAR branded Craftsman bottle openers (same design)were .99. I bought all that were on clearance at my local store for Christmas stocking stuffers.

just picked one up a little bit ago. i went into the store and took it up to the counter only to find that i couldn't get it for 5 bucks in the store and they wouldnt price match to the online price. so i literally stood up at the register and ordered it on my phone. just to have an associate walk up and grab it from the register and i followed him back to where the pick up section is and he gave it to me then. not trying to turn this thread into a bitchfest i just dont understand this.. so dont think you can get it in store for the same price online haha.

Almost had the same experience. The clerk tried to order it on a web kiosk for me to pick up/pay in-store - but their computer couldn't even find their own store (much less, the complete inventory of two that I was holding in my hand.) It took a manager to do the price match, but it can be done at the register. Took a printout of the webpage just in case, but they insisted on looking it up themselves. Both the clerk & the manager.

It can be done, but they didn't offer it at first.

Don't worry. At Sears the price will come back again. Sears.com has a thing that allows you to watch a price and get emailed when it changes. It usually works pretty well unless is is an amazing deal and they sell out before they send the email.
