This is almost at rediculous as the manager of my local HF telling me as were loading my new 56" box into the back on my truck that "these are made at the same plant as snap on boxes" I quickly pointed out the 'made in china' on the carton where 'made in algona iowa' would be if that were true. :d

I asked the guy on the craftsman community board to scan and post the article that he had read. Day 2 and theres still nothing posted. I would say that the probability that this deal happened .001%..................

I think the blog entry at Cman site was a misprint. What they meant to say is that Sears/Craftsman is buying tools from the same Chinese supplier as Snap-On. ;)

You scared the bejesus out of me. Ever since Cannondale bike manufacturing was shipped off to China, I thought anything possible.

I was at a good local auto parts store about a week ago, and one of the kids there said, "How can a country that makes such crappy products dominate us?"

He was right. The U.S. is weak if it does not keep and maintain some level of manufacturing.
