I have two of these grinders for sale. Had to split into two listing because of the limit on the number of pictures.
These are the older cast iron block grinders, much heavier than the newer aluminum ones. Approximately 40 lb. each. They are complete. These earlier ones did not have wheel covers on the side. There are no tapped holes for covers.
grinder #2
model 397.19501
Date code is 1962
The lamp socket was coming loose so I soldered it back together. It's tight now.
The lamp works well. It comes on when the grinder is turned on.
There is a small crack on the bottom of one wheel guard.
It looks like a previous owner welded it so it won't get any bigger.
Eye shields are dirty, but they are not cracked.
It runs good. Smooth and strong.
Asking $100 plus the actual shipping cost plus $20 for shipping supplies and the labor to carefully package it. Sorry, but it's a lot of work to ship a cast iron grinder safely. Paypal, check, money order, or cash on pickup. Local pickup would obviously be best.
