Its 27$, would be a different issue at 277. 25 cents for a working socket if you need one is revolutionary. It makes some sense that a 10$ socket is better as is a 30$ one but for a quarter its pretty darn good and I havnt heard of anyone breaking them?
1 % the cost of a premium tool,,, only 20% of the sales tax here alone.
Any of this ******* argument would really have some merit if the junk was 10$ and the good was 20.
People wonder whats wrong with education and why some other countries beating up on us,,, well I think along the way they graduate from grade school logic. Trying to figure out if a socket fits with a slide rule or thinking that a bolt cares.

Second, Sears hasn't been any good since the 70's,,, USA made or not. Its only salvation was that it was cheap. The new old stock isn't any better than the China and possibly not as good if put under real stress.
This is from real world ownership and observation.

You got to wonder, someone goes in to a Macdonalds, drops 20 for a lunch, gives up 5 in profit to a mega corp, fills a dump with garbage with **** food, pays 4$ for a gallon of gas and 2$ for a bottle of water and then goes in to a Sears and gets 108 tools for 27$ and somehow Sears is ******* them?
What the fuk is wrong with this picture? Complaining about it on a China phone and puter.
Its really how the world is run though, getting most to go with the wrong odds, its how politics succeed, its how they can sell the extended warranty and high risk credit.
There are those who are a step even above that, fanatics, lets call them cant change oil without snapons.
The real money is always in making one think they are getting a better deal than they are,,, hence the invention of a "brand",,,,,,,,,, basically the same stuff in a different box.
Today this is even closer

Interesting that the FBI has finally brought suit against the Chinese intelligence community for industrial espionage. Bad enough that we willingly do business with a nation whose policy is to destroy us economically, the Chinese govt is actively stealing US intellectual property using their version of the CIA.

If China was trying to destroy our economy, then their economy would take just as big of a hit. Economies rely on each other in most countries. :headscrat
