There are a huge number of New Craftsman Griplatch Toolboxes on Ebay lately. I also was in Sears this week and they were changing the display boxes. These ball bearing, griplatch boxes were the last nice, non-professional boxes that Sears offered. It really appears that they are replacing most of their suppliers.

Replacing their suppliers, or simply discontinuing a single style of box (which they do pretty regularly)?

based on sears.com, it certainly appears like there are some new offerings. no indication though that the griplatch are disappearing. the price of the 8-drawer griplatch certainly doesn't indicate any kind of close out... yet.

They have several new styles of boxes on Sears.com, the new 43" Contour series has griplatch, 50 lb rating per drawer is not as good as old Griplatch 70 lb rating.
