The Cman club + 10% off is not stacking, but after calling repeatedly I managed to find someone who was willing to manually edit the price (price adjust) for a handi-cut, gasket scraper set, and 10 drawer ball bearing chest all picked up at my local store.

You got lucky, I had no such luck. They wouldn't stack the 10% off and Cman club discount
Oh well, tried.

Why no stacking? I think it had worked before..

I just got back from the store with a bunch of craftsman pro goodies and they took 10% off the subtotal..

But they run out of handicuts, I need to order one for pick up in stock 3-5 days.. At this point since the discount isn't stacking I don't need to order tonight either.

I could not get the discounts to stack either. The manager I originally spoke to was about to manually take 10% off and give me the Craftsman Club pricing, but could not guarantee that the order would go through when it was sent to the local store for pick-up.

So, I called back and spoke to another manager and she processed the order with the VIP 10% discount and advised that I should show my Craftsman Club card at the time of pick up and have them credit me the difference. If that doesn't work, I just want the Craftsman Club pricing, it's still less than what I'm currently charged - stupid Sears.

I'll follow up when I go to pick up the items - I'm not that optimistic.

FWIW, I was trying to buy the following:
1. 59614/5 Craftsman 11 Drawer Ball Bearing Combo with Griplatch
1a. Member Price: $499.98
1b. With an additional 10% off = $449.98
1c. What I got charged: ($299.99-$30.00) + ($249.99-$25.00) = $494.98
Result: $45.50 over 1b, $5.00 less than Club straight price 1a

2. 59126 Craftsman Professional Floor Cabinet, Full Shelves
2a. Member Price: $239.99
2b. With an additional 10% off = $215.99
2c. What I got charged: ($299.99-$30.00) = $269.99
Result: $55.00 over 2b, $30 more than Club straight price 2a

Actual Items Total: $764.97 (1c + 2c)
Craftsman Club Total: $739.97 (1a + 2a) <-- I would have been better off with this price
Ideal Total: $739.97 - $73.99 = $665.97 (CCTotal - 10%)

I went to the store and got the gasket scraper set and they ordered the cut-off tool for me for the price in the ad plus the 10% off. Yea! Even the wife was impressed...

I read the "fine print" for the friends and family event (the 10% off yesterday) and it didn't say you couldn't use it in combination with another sale.

My order went thru at my local store (all items ready for pickup) and they processed a manual 10% refund to my card. Not bad. Wish I could have gotten the intermediate chest for the similar craftsman club less 10% price... Oh well.
