Anybody ever tear one of these down?? I have a brand new one that has been sitting in the box for maybe 20 years..it just blows air. I am assuming the oil has gummed up, when I spin the anvil it engages nothing, I have oiled it thru the air fitting with air tool oil..pulled the back off shot tri-flow in it and let it sit for a week, still blows air. pulled the back off and put the anvil on my bench and pushed down..nothing budges.. smacked the anvil with a with a 16oz bronze hammer... nothing is moving. SO, my question..who has disassembled one of these and what is the order of disassembly??

Before you start, I'd confirm you can find replacement parts. I doubt they are still available.

pull the rotor out and clean the vanes. unless something is broken, the vanes are stuck in the rotor.
and thats the problem it wont come apart

Take off the back cover, take a mallet and knock the guts out the back, clean it and re assemble
