Hi-My Craftsman compressor is model 919.167400, Serial No. 2016122344. I bought it new about 15-17 years ago. It was working fine until last week when it broke one of the legs of the eccentric bearing assembly. The part number that I have is AC-0107, which was replaced by AC-0140, which was replaced by Z-AC-0140. I have checked many websites, including Sears Part Direct, e-Replacement Parts, eBay, Amazon, etc.; and all I get is no longer available, discontinued or no replacement.
https://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/Z-AC-0140/0009/919.html

Before I take it to the dumpster, I was wondering if any of you know where I can get this part, or if you know of any other replacement available for a different brand of air compressor.

Many thanks for any help that you can provide!

Tony

I don't see that part listed for that model number. Are you sure about the model number?

Sears regularly has other companies make things for them. There's a chance your compressor was made by someone else and they still offer replacement parts. I'm not as familiar with the compressors but I had a craftsman shop vac that was made by ridgid, different color and stickers but exactly the same otherwise.

ETA-

That part number comes up as Porter Cable on eReplacement parts. Still no longer available but it might give you more search options.

Yes, I’m sure 100%. When I enter the model # at the Sears parts website, I get the part # provided above. I still have the original owners manual that came with the compressor, and it shows the same model # shown on the compressor’s label.

I have a complete compressor pump and motor. the compressor number is 919-167320
I hate to part it out as it works perfect, and not a lot of use on it. are you interested in the entire pump for future parts? I'm thinking $50 plus shipping?

I found that the Porter Cable units had usable parts. I used that type when replacing the reed assembly on mine. I had to make a small modification for it to work.

I’m going to get a shipping estimate.
What are the apx dimensions, apx weight and the zip code?
Thanks.

I could be dead wrong but the part doesn't appear to be all that complicated to make. If you have a machinist friend they may make you one for a reasonable price.

Hi everyone, sorry for jumping on an old thread but I stumbled across this when looking for the identical part. I am having no luck finding it. Does anyone have any ideas? Just like the original poster my bearing is fine but a leg broke off, would getting it welded even be an option?

That compressor is made by Devilbiss. You could call them and see if they can help. Sears usually had parts available for 7 years then as demand dwindled so did the parts supply.

THat eccentric is obsolete and no longer available . I sold the part to the OP and I know he uncovered other issues with the compressor. he was thinking of trying to re sell the part, shoot him a PM and ask him what the status is.

I just realized he hasn't logged on in some time. I still had his email from the paypal transaction and sent him a email about this thread. I'm not getting into any transactions here, just hopefully trying to help out 2 GJ users .

Thank you, I really do appreciate your help. I have called and emailed dozens of companies so far and no one has any old or used stock available.

I am the OP. I was able to fix the compressor withe parts that The Cobbler sent me.

When I was looking for the eccentric I created and alert on eBay and totally forgot about it. Just recently I received an email/notification from eBay alerting me of a used eccentric that had been posted. I didn’t buy it because my compressor was already fixed, but I suggest that you create a similar alert. You never know when one can be posted. Good luck!

Sorry for jumping this old thread, but I’m in the same exact boat as the OP was. I’ve tried everything. Searched for hours for this part with no luck. Spent all day hitting every pawn shop around, even some garage sales. I think mine is passed being repaired. If anyone has figured out any replacements items that will work, or has a old one they’re willing to part out or sell the pump as a whole. Please let me know. Part number # AC-0107 , AC-0140 , Z-AC-0140

Those are similar but not the right size. I was thinking if the size of how it sits on the shaft would effect the travel of the piston, being to much or to little. May buy one to test it out, and see if I can’t modify it a little.
