Craftsman compressor.

I need your help

I had my old craftsman ac torn down awaiting a new ring. I tried to make a home made ring but it just chewed it up. I removed the compression head but got distracted and forgot to unplug the unit. This am the wash rack girl was dumping the trash cans and drug the damn thing across the unit and flipped the switch on! Well it beat the damn piston right off the shaft making a $8 repair into a $80 repair. Well I got to thinking maybe one of you fine folks here on garage journal might have one laying around I could pick up on the cheap

This will broaden the base of compressors to look for . I looked at erplacement.com and found there's 67 compatible compressors that use that piston/cylinder assy. . link here http://www.ereplacementparts.com/piston-rod-cylinder-kit-p-961483.html
