Obviously you haven't read the other 3 or 4 threads the OP has started bragging about how he stole and committed fraud against sears that were deleted? He loves screwing sears and doing whatever it takes to get craftsman tools as cheap as he can, no matter how low he has to stoop to do it. This is where 99% of these comments come from. He brags about screwing sears over and then starts threads bitching about quality of tools made in china. The OP says COO matters to him but only wants to buy craftsman and do so by exchanging items and keeping bits and pieces of each set because in his words he is OCD.

Some people just can't move on.

This thread is clean with the sole purpose of reviewing Craftsman Items, H/F has one so this is one to add to the mix. I really desire to Rename this to Something Craftsman COO China Fail thread with a combo of informing memebers of USA tools that they still sell while supplies last.

Perhaps it should be renamed 'The Sears (craftsman) pass/fail thread'. It might take the edge off.

Sure, if that what it takes then so be it. If a Mod can come up maybe with something to inform members of USA sets still out there.

Craftsman Pass/Fail Thread and work in USA items/sets still available online or at a certain store.

There eventually wont be any USA sets out there. In fact 95% of the sets now available are China.

I can move on and will. Your problem is you built yourself a reputation, and not a good one, by bragging about stealing and fraud. Also you don't seem to be able to take a hint, all your threads about craftsman like these get closed or deleted. You ever stop to ask yourself why?

I just don't get why you keep starting the same threads that all end in the same results? Did one poster in here add anything to your craftsman pass/fail thread if that's what you want to call it? I tried by informing you that craftsman tools have gone way downhill but you seem to still want to buy them, even a lot of the US made craftsman is pretty close to junk. But especially things like rivet guns. This forum is a wealth of information and if you use it right you can find the best rivet gun at a good price.

I'll "move on" but as you can see it's not just me, pretty much every other poster in this thread has posted similar replies. Why don't you try posting other topics instead the same craftsman posts. If anything I would say you are the one that can't "move on" with the same craftsman posts over and over and over that all have the same end result. I guess some people can't take a hint when almost all their threads get deleted. I personally don't even go to sears anymore because I know that the quality just isn't there and the warranty doesn't mean **** to me anymore since the tool will just be replaced with a china version. But to each their own. Buy whatever you want, it's your money or in your case some money and some theft and fraud, and I will do the same. If COO is such a big deal to you why not search out better tools that are made here? Or even buy used tools, I buy a ton of snap on used because I can't afford new but like the quality.

Not really pointless. It's good to let people know which tools to avoid. It's a huge hassle to buy a new tool and have it fail when you need it.

#1. Read the replies in this thread. Pretty much a personal chastising deservedly brought on by the actions of one of the posters.

#2. There is a slant on this forum against tools imported. Slightly from europe, more so from asia and especially from China. There are decent tools(and bad ones too) from all of these places but personal political agendas keep good discussion from happening.

I'm not saying I am in favor of tools that are imported, but objective discussions about them without rhetoric is difficult to conduct here. I personally can find better venues to discuss politics, industrialization and economics

That is one hell of a score! How did you get so cheap? I just scored a 13 piece metric set for 99.99 after a few coupons still no where near you and the grey case had dirt all over it! How many pieces was yours?

IMO I think I got a great deal on the 42 piece Swivel socket set. It was N/A for quite some time and re-appeared. I was skeptical thinking that the USA was out and China was in. I scored it for $150 after discounts and cashing in my SYWR points! I figured if they were China made I would return but they were USA and I was thrilled. I still like how =V= CMan swivels look but now I moved them into my home box.

These are a GO, you could not put a set together like this from any COO brand USA. I know I will never use about half these sockets, but it sure is comforting to know I am set for the rest of my career and adds to my chests full of metal.

Sunday was Friends and Family so I jumped on the 20 pc. Stubby Set as it became available. I need stubbies for Reefer unit work and I was barely getting by on Mid-Length wrenches. They will be here by the end of the week $80 hopefully USA. Used 7 pc CMan pro sets got for about $40 used after shipping so I got new plus 2 extra wrenches.

Here is another USA SCORE off the Sears Website been eyeing these for a while.

20 PC Stubby Set in SAE and Metric. Cman Pro sets have been going for around $40-$45 with shipping included.

Scored these this past Sunday with Family & Friends I knocked it down to $80 with Free Shipping. Sears Emailed me the other day there were upgrading me to 2 day shipping.
