I didn't plan on posting this but after putting it together and observing the quality of the hardware I am impressed with it. Even the included hex key has a nice chrome finish that is actually worth keeping. The wheels and bolts are very nice also! Looks better in person then the picture on the website. It does say Craftsman on the top unlike the website image.

Pictures in next post.

I have that.. bought it years ago. I've found that it doesn't roll very well. But the overall quality it good.

Which one is better this one or the round seat version? I know members have swapped caster wheels for better ones to improve movement.

Is this a Craftsman Club price this week?

Thanks

Usually I only move a few inches or so when working on something. If I have to move it to the other side of the car I would probably just pick it up.

I actually feel more stable in this one vs. the round seat.

I think it is just a sale price. You may notice it says clearance in the store but at a slightly higher price.

Its a going out of business sale.

Just a regular sale. But I think they will clearance them out.

Find the Goodyear seat Sams Club sold years ago. They are awesome. I have two. Hydraulic lifts, round, etc

Better or worse than those Torins? This one is cheaper and seems like a great deal!

Is this better or the round rolling stool that sometimes goes on sale for $20?

Y=s I assume so. Those wheels break off. I have a Torin which is great. About $27 though off amazon.

so $10 more for the Torin seems worth it then since it has better wheels, in which it'll cost you that much just to "upgrade" the Craftsman?

Added a $4 filler flashlight to get this over $20 and used the facebook coupon for $20 back in points.

Im a big guy......330lbs....I use a Bone creeper and its amazing.

For a stool I use a milk crate.....doesnt roll....but it doesnt break either.

.....anyone think this or the Torin is up to holding a 6ft4in 330lb guy?

I prefer the round one any day of the week.

Ive had the same craftsman seat for over 10years now, it's held up well and rolls fine in my garage. Only issue I've had is the casters come loose and need to be retorqued occasionally, hasnt bothered me enough to break out the loctite, but that's probably all it needs
