Was looking online and came across these wrenches. My dads birthday is coming and thought these might make a good gift.He has arthritis really bad and these may be easier on his hands.Does anybody have these wrenches? If so how do you like them?I know they maybe made in Tiawan or China but that does not matter.

I have a set---USA made

I primarily use them for front end work. Length wise they are longer than a standard rp wrench.

The open end head is larger than a standard wrench, which is part of the reason I bought these---front end work.

They fit a fastener well and take alot of abuse-no complaints.

I haven't seen these made overseas. Doesn't mean they aren't now, just that I haven't seen it

Unfortunetly they are indeed imported, chinese sets were showing up around the same time Craftsman Pro Full Polish went away. Good wrench design, not a novelty at all. They have their place. I use the ratcheting versions as my go-to's for outdoor power equipment stuff.

I have the Kobalts and can't say enough about them. Really, really like them. The Kobalts also have a nice offset to the box end that others don't. If buying Chinese anyway, give them a look.

I picked up a set of the U.S. version on clearance sale for $20.00 at my local Sears Store.
Although I have only used them a few times they are a good wrench and are also easy on the hands for anyone who has arthritis, like me.

They are a great idea, but the wrenches are very bulky. I have the large sizes (19-24) I believe. I dont use them very much at all. I might get rid of them. Im not sure if the smaller sizes are as bulky or not.

Wait until you try to find a wrench rack for them.

I see no purpose to them other than sucking money out of your wallet.

I've got a set of USA full polish metric and SAE, and really like them. They are very well made, and an excellent design for many applications. The metric set is ratcheting.

These cross force wrenches are often my go-to (I also have Snap On, Cornwell, and Wright wrench sets). I also have the large metric set (non ratcheting), and they are pretty stout, but also very comfortable.

It's a shame Sears dropped these USA wrenches.

They definitely seem like they could be useful to some people. If looking for Cman USA, check ebay. They've been on clearance in stores so there is a flood on ebay. I have a metric set I'm selling myself if you're interested.

You can go to Lowes and Get a Kobalt set on clearance for $14.97 right now. 8 piece and you can choose either SAE or Metricanical.

Id rather spend $15 on Taiwan Kobalt than $40 for Chi com Craftsman
