Anybody have any good suggestions on how to deal with Craftsman Customer Service? I've ordered a socket set online and it is incomplete and has some duplicates! It took over a year to get the stinkin' thing! :lol_hitti

I'm furious.
Anybody have any suggestions?

go to your local sears and ask them to fix it
if they do not then I hope you paid with your credit card.
then you can just call the credit card company and hold the charge. tell them that the set is incomplete and sears is not wanting to complete the set

I love my american express
call them and they will deal with the company for you

Billymade posted Sears' customer service phone number, not their typical one, but the one where you can reach someone who takes things seriously and can handle any issue promptly.

I had a problem along those lines. I ordered a set of wrenches and it was shipped with two 8mm wrenches but no 9mm wrench. I called the 1-800 number one the invoice and they told me to take it to my local Sears along with the invoice and they would give me a 9 for one of the 8's. I did and they swapped it out without batting an eye.

I walked right in a store and they did an even exchange for me.
Thanks for all the help.
That 1-800 number should be a big help if (when) future issues arise.

I had a similar problem but it was resolved easily. I had received one of their mechanics sets (154 pc?) for xmas one year. When i opened it up and inventoried it, I found it was missing 1 wrench and 1 socket. I called the 800 number and was put in touch with the tool manufacturer themselves (not craftsman). I simply read them the product code (from the parts list) of the missing pieces and they send them to me via UPS. took about 5 days to get them. Very easy.
