Hi folks,

If this topic has already been discussed please add link to thread.

I live in Alberta Canada, and I own a Craftsman tool cabinet. I can find some drawer trim on searspartsdirect.com but I cannot find the trim for the longest top drawer of the cabinet.

I have called SEARS ten times, I've been hung on 3 times and a manager told me she would follow up with me after two days, it's been 2 weeks, no response.

NO ONE at SEARS has a clue about tool boxes or how to find their parts. Craftsman's website offers you to contact SEARS. SEARS says we don't offer parts for tool boxes only lawn mowers and snow blowers. Even though you can find some drawer trim on searspartsdirect.com.

I'm told direct is for U.S. customers only.

I call Bull $#!+ on that. It seems impossible that I am not allowed to order the aluminum drawer trim.

PLEASE if you know how to contact CRAFTSMAN DIRECTLY (NOT SEARS) then I would really appreciate it. Or if you have any advice.

Thanks Folks.

To reduce your stress level over your endeavor, maybe go down deep in to your creative bag and buy some thin aluminum and try your hand at making your own trim maybe ? Good Luck  JMO

I purchased a Waterloo toolbox and it had plastic trim pieces on the drawers. My craftsman had nice aluminum trim. Some Craftsman are made by Waterloo and sure enough the trim would fit perfect, since its the same construction drawer.

Try Waterloo, if I can find the part numbers I posted them up.

There is a model # inside one of the drawers, have you tried searching by model # on their parts website? If it's a low dollar item or over 7 years old it's likely the parts aren't available, but if you have the model # you can play with the last digits of the # on the parts website and see if you can find a model close to the one you have and see if the parts listed for it would work.

How long is it? I have 2 craftsman drawers heading for the scrapyard

^^^^ this.

Knuckle. If the trim lattimer offered you is not long enough. What about taking the two pieces, finding the center point of the drawer and cutting the trim to be in equal pieces? May be the best solution.:dunno:
