I'm working on restoring an old craftsman drill press. It's missing the top cover, but other than that in sound condition except needing a good cleaning and fresh paint. What's the best way to shine up the levers and the post? I'm sand blasting all the cast parts before I paint them. I'm not going to make it look original, leaning on painting it bright green or yellow.
