First off, love this site. Wish I would have found it years ago.

Anyway, a family friend has a Crafstman drill press that I’m trying to help her sell. I was hoping I could get an idea of its value.

MANUFACTURER: Sears Craftsman
TYPE: Floor standing
MODEL: 101-03622
MOTOR: 1/3 HP Dunlap

Note: didn’t run when I plugged in and checked, but no dianostics or testing performed.

I’ll attach some pics. Sincere thanks for any input.

Greg

BTW - 10 years ago while out of the country, I had my dream 600 sq ft garage cleaned out of $20k worth of tools & materials. And I knew the thief. Lessons? Trust no one. Lock you garage.

Thanks again

I sold one of those table lifts for over $400, so go get it before someone else does.
Rest of it is around $100-$150. Motors are easy to fix or replace.

-edit- I see you are selling. Put the lift on ebay (or sell here) and sell the press for $150 with a running motor.

The vise is also somewhat rare. With those two accessories, it goes from maybe $100 to at least $250.

But $400 for a Craftsman table raising mechanism? Congrats on finding a buyer who just had to have it and had so much money he didn't care. Around here, over $400 will often buy a complete running Delta DP600 17" with a production table and elevating mechanism.
