Looking at getting a middle tool box. I've got my original bottom chest that I got 20 years ago. (it's the Quiet Glide) I got the Ball Bearing top box last year, the drawers do glide a lot better.

Now looking at getting the matching middle box. I see now they have the Dynaglide boxes on sale for $65. They show a heavier load rating than the Ball Bearing. I won't put a ton of weight in the box, but I'm looking more for which one's drawer are smoother to open/close.

Anybody know if there is much of a difference between the two?

Thanks,

I'm looking for a middle box, in black, to go with my QuietGlide upper and lower also.

What is the number on the one you are looking at ?

I could be wrong but I believe the 'dynaglide' is a form of plastic runner inside of the track that allows smoother operation.

Thanks,

I've also been debating if it will make the box combination too tall. My bottom box is taller than the normal 34inch. (it's 40.5inches)

So with the my existing top box and this middle box, it will be 68 inches tall... I'm 6'1, but not sure if I'm going to like the top being that tall...

I bought it for the Black Friday price of $65, but still debating if I'll keep it...
