Anyone know where to get the craftsman easy read sockets? I looked at LOWES and can not seem to find them. I am looking for 1/4" deep socket with the easy read writing on them. My eyes are getting bad so need bigger writing. Thank you

The easy read sockets were a Sears/Craftsman offering and haven't been sold in about 6-7 years. You may get lucky and find new old stock sets at Ace Hardware, but doubtful in 2023.

eBay would be your best option. There are plenty available, China and USA made.

Just about all of my Craftsman sockets are this type, USA made with the size etched onto the socket in addition to the stamping. I’m in the process of switching out all of my Craftsman sockets with SnapOn, US Mac, Proto or Wright as I find good deals. I’d be happy to sell you what I’ve got? I’ll just move up my acquisition of 1/4” drive if you’re interested lol. Thanks!

Hmmm. For impact sockets, you could try a number punch set of an appropriate size. You might try filling the punched numbers with a paint stick. I've used paint sticks for a bunch of stuff, but automotive work is particularly hard duty. You might need to clean and refill at some point. You just rub the paint stick into the numerals and then wipe off the surface excess with a rag.

I marked all of my impact sockets, writing nice and big so that I can easily read them, with a silver sharpie. It made all the difference in the world.
