I thought they were made in China. Oh well, still made somewhere other than the USA. I have Craftsman and they are USA made.

Chinese Junk.

No, they aren't the nicest. I don't really like the finish, but they get the job done.
I was kind if disgusted with myself when I purchased them, but they've held up alright. I've set my impact to the 500 ft lb setting and hammered on a few nuts and the didn't explode.

The SAE set only goes up to 1". The metric set skips too many common sizes. No 11 or 18? Seriously?

For $2 more, you can get 13 piece sets from HF. It's an apples to apples comparison: Both are import impacts with a fair to poor finish on them. Neither is likely to ever break.

Chinese Junk.

The the car in your pic is Japanese junk.

Have you ever used these? No you probably haven't. Kinda hard to screw up impact sockets. You make yourself look retarded when you speak out of tongue. I have duralast impacts made in tawain. Are they junk too? If they are how come they haven't broke after heavy use.

Thanks OP. looks like a decent deal.

Funny how the Evolv stuff looks better than the Craftsman...and seems to hold up. Honestly why the Evolv line even has impacts seems weird.

Yeah, The car is Japanese. You know Japan and China are different places right?

As with tools, I only buy American. If you want to buy second rate stuff be my guest. I know the vast majority of this board agrees with me and prefers buying America tools.

You should take your Duralast impacts and mind your tongue on this board, retard.

What!?! The PRC and Japan are different? Since when?

Point being, they aren't junk. Can't call something junk if you haven't used it. Yes a lit of people prefer USA on here, and a lot of people go for price and warranty before coo.

For the record, Id love to have an evo x.

Craftsman Evolv stuff requires a receipt to be warrantied!!!

Regular Craftsman does not.

Wonder how many people sears has sucked in with that switch around :shocking:

Evolv warranty is **** compared to the regular warranty. Of course most employees probably won't know the difference in warranties.

I bought these as my first 1/2" drive sockets, I still don't have any serious impact wrenches only drivers. I cannot speak to durability for this reason but on some of the sockets I feel that the fastener fit is a little off. Some I think are too loose where others will just about guarantee the nut/bolt will get STUCK in the socket.

Another thing about these impacts is they have a VERY porous finish, I suspect this is more prone to rusting than some of the other impacts like the Craftsman and Harbor Freight pro's.

For the money though they are hard to beat, I mean it's only $20.

That said I think Harbor Freight "Pro" line of impacts MAY be better and are about the same price. Also the Harbor Freight Are much thinner at the end.

Evolv warranty is the exact same with exception to the receipt. Thankfully Sears emails me a copy of every receipt I get from them, so unless google goes out of business I should be ok.
