This isn't even on sale. $89.99 is the regular full price.

There is no way you could call these 'heavy duty'. They are very light duty.

The drawers are rated at 25lbs on "steel sliders" e.g. not ball bearings.

This box is functional for storage, but not for frequent use.

It's for a homeowner to keep a basic set of tools in for occasional use. Any constant use would break it down like a Dr. Pepper can.

Look on Craigslist and get a used older box. Even one of the Harbor Freight 4 or 5 drawer service carts would be a better deal.

If you want a cheap tool chest, Sams and Walmart had a Stanley 5 drawer with 85 piece toolset for $70. Doesn't look like it sold well so they discontinued it. There might be some stores that still sell it.

Not sure how this relates quality wise to this one - but I'm really happy with my HF $170 black one (it was $140-150 when I bought mine, I think 170 is current price).

I have a Ace Hardware pro version 6 drawers USA made one. I also bought the Craftsman version bottom part at a Garage sale for $10.00 and is USA made. Save the $100.00 Dollars and go on Craiglist or Yard or Garage sales it will buy you far superior box then this one. This is as low quality as it gets. Just my opinion.

Weird, I haven't seen the Evolv one in stores in years; I thought it was replaced by this identical-looking Craftsman model at a higher price.

I haven't seen it at Sears, either...but KMart definitely still has them.

Yes, I've seen them at K-Marts too. Damn crappy units. The Evolv line was an interesting concept. I had a few sets of the Evolv sockets. Never used them and later sold them at the flea market. Most of the Evolv line is China, right? Some of the handles on the Evolv line seem way too fat.

Some is China, some is Taiwan. What's sad is that the "lower line" Evolv ratchets are better than the "standard line" Craftsman ratchets.

In my area, both Home Depot's had clearanced out THIS IDENTICAL Husky unit for 45.00.

So possibly check your local Home Depot and see what they've got. The SKU is 515551.
