so i just picked up some craftsman evolv wrenches. 14 pc set with american and metric sizes. now i normally buy nothing but mac and snapon... but i need tools to keep at my apartment as well as the shop. they have the same warenty as regular craftsman...only differance is you need to have your reciept. anyone had any experiances good or bad with these?

Are we talking about that full polished evolve combination wrench set for less than $20? If so, they're ok but, nothing to write home about. They are really thin but, for basic wrenching, they're fine. I think they're perfect for starter tools, the trunk of a car, or a home tool set. Hell, they'd probably be ok at work unless you start hooking them together.:lol:

yep those are the ones. i wasnt expecting them to be super good. i just needed a set for home. and since i try to always buy real high quality tools for work, i dont have enough in my budget for much of anything at home. i was just trying to make sure they werent complete junk

knowing the way sears is becoming you may want to laminate them.....i'm sure somewhere along the line they'll want the originals.
