Craftsman extreme grip

Was looking at there 5 pc. extreme grip wrench set. Are these any good? seem like they would come in handy. Especially in my car restoration hobby. Seem a little Gimmicky but at the same time might be useful on rusted fasteners and bolts.

First time I heard of them. They have mixed reviews on Amazon. I would try anything to get a rounded bolt out.

Pictures of the item would help. Several years ago I bought a small set of Extreme Grip wrenches and I think they discontinued them. They have been sitting in my tool chest drawer ever since. I tried them one time on a rusted out stuck fastener and the wrench did not work on it. Maybe that is why they discontinued them. Mine are in the left side of the drawer facing it. These are probably different from what they sell now.

Are you a professional mechanic? If yes, run away, those look like the most clunkiest, gimmicky, uncomfortable wrenches i've seen in a while. Worthless.

I got a similar metric set of those wrenches that are in your drawer on clearance several years ago mainly because one end had the pawless ratcheting mechanism. To protect my hands I never use that weird open end feature. The pawless ratcheting end is not silky smooth but has been durable when abused.

Drink I have a set of those too only have used them a few times. They are not very practical for most uses but on the other hand in special applications they worked for me.
