Craftsman grinder

Does anyone have any info on this grinder that was given to me.
Would like to know how old it is Thanks

i'd guess 1950's just because i own several other Craftsman tools with that flavor. never seen that grinder before. looks like a keeper. does it work and if you are going to use it you might want to tape up the open wires some.

Yes it does work. I have used it with a cut off wheel a few times. I plan on replacing the cord. The cord that is on it has a polarized plug on it so i think the cord has been changed before

With the right fixture, you can set that up as a post grinder on a lathe as well.
