At least my Craftsman breaker bar (1/2") has a hanging hole in the handle--I wonder if there are any pictures of the bars from different vintages-did,say, =V= look different than VV
did they really take a nosedive after 2004 (KmartSears merger)

Those early flex handles with the hole in the handle was intended for a cross bar to go through.

Actually, SK makes their own tools at their own facility. They were bought by Ideal Industries after that company from France screwed them up.
You seem to know an awful lot about tools to go out and get "duped" into buying some inferior Craftsman junk. If you know so much about how the tool companies operate, then you'd know that Craftsman has been going downhill for years now. What's with all the feigned surprise? :dunno:

Craftsman, and most other half decent companies make some decent tools. The fallicy is when people assume that tools will be good simply because they have the name "Craftsman" stamped on them. This is true to some degree of pretty much all tool companies. Brand loyalty is for fools.
