Craftsman Handi-cut replacement blades

I have an older Craftsman Handi-cut # 9-37201. I am looking for new blades, and maybe a new anvil. I can order through sears but the shipping costs more than the blades, and no Sears in town. If I needed it I wouldn't have a problem paying the extra shipping but I already have a nice cornwell cutter. Just looking to fix a tool for cheap.

Anyone have some blades?

I'm confused.

I've got both teh short and long tools and several sets of blades of each and anvils, but by the time I ship them out, even blades and/or anvils alone , it's still the same price as buying directly from Sears.


Order from your local sears if you have one, which is pretty likely.

I would think the blades could be shipped for $3 or less. No local sears. There is a small sears about 30 mins away. I may go that route. I looked on cripe and they sell the whole cutter for $6.

With the price of gas it makes shipping look good. Your local Sears store would need to order it and then they would ship it to you. My bet is that they will not have the replacement part in stock. Shiping is a killer for everything. We pay $5 for a socket it cost the same to ship. Most small postal shipping is about $3.50 on average even for small things. There is a minimum and that seems to be close. Skip the fast food place once and that will pay for it. LOL If you like the tool it is well worth the price. You might buy the whole tool cheaper than a part.
