Craftsman hatchet. What year/era???

I got this hatchet over the weekend and was wondering what year/era this logo is from. It is in great shape and still has most of the original paint. I am thinking maybe the 1970's.

Have no idea but that is a sweet hatchet. Good pickup.

Marty: i'd say older than 70's since it has blue paint in the logo. it's a guess, but i'm thinking 50's so will wait and hear what others say. looks like it's in like new condition except for a little surface rust.

LOL. I am very happy if I get 5 hours a night. I haven't slept 8 hours in a very very long time.

Thought that paint was =V= era?

With that big C I think 1940's or 1950's.
