Hello All,

I am hoping someone can help me out with some measurements and possibly a picture or two. I have a Craftsman Power Bandsaw that I picked up.
Model 108.22920 it matches 108.22921, 101.22950,10122923,101.22900,101.22922 I need the dimensions of the cylinder the stroke etc as seen below I found a company that makes them but I and they want to be sure it fits I believe this unit is made by Clausing originally.

From the Supplier:

Good Morning Cypher,
Thank you for contacting us with your questions.
In order to know if our hydraulic feed cylinder will fit your Craftsman saw, I need a little more information, please.
Since you don't have a cylinder currently, I will also explain how to find the dimensions I need.

I need your opened and closed dimensions. To find these, measure from the center of the mounting pins with the saw arm fully extended for the opened height dimension and again with the saw arm fully retracted for the closed height dimension.

I also need to know the outside diameter of your cylinder. You can measure the mounting plate/area where it sits, to find an approximate dimension, since you don't current have a cylinder to measure.

If you send me these dimensions I will be happy to see if our standard cylinder will fit your saw. I'll do a little checking with the model number and all you already provided me, to see what style of cylinder your saw uses, also.

Thank you again for your questions.
Please have a great week!!
Danelle

If someone who has one could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I have scoured Sears Parts site and can find most everything I might need to rebuild it once I put it on the bench but non of them have either all the parts to the cylinder or the cylinder assembly as a whole. The Body seems to be the issue other internal parts are available.

I've got one of these saws. It was made by Covel, then later by Atlas. I measured the cylinder.

eye to eye closed: 5.750"
eye to eye held fully open: 9.00"
Cylinder diameter: 1.375"
Piston diameter: .500"

I'll try to get some photos of it.

Want to guess what Clausing wants for the ONE they have on the shelf which has been there since 2009... $822.32 I actually got them talked down but only to 425.00 so umm NOPE . According to the tech guy lol it only fits those series of machines no other machine or type of machine lol they will be holding on to that part for a long long time.

That's crazy. I've heard of guys adapting other cylinders, but did not need to do it myself. Send me your email address and I'll send a couple photos. Photobucket is not cooperating today.
